Currently The Paper Printing Process Has Two Ways

　　Stereotype and copperplate printing, also known as typography, it is a semi-manual machine; other is a more advanced offset printing, can be described as flat offset printing. Owing to different processes, the results obtained from typography and offset printing and the requirements of the packaging design are also quite different.

　　Therefore, we must clarify which printing method before the packaging design.

1. Typography

　　Typography must be based on the color design drawings, it need an additional black and white drawing to distinguish the color. The black and white draft is a very important part. It will be used for photographic. If it didn't draw well, or inconsistent with the original drawing will affect the printing effect directly.

2. Offset Printing

　　The design draft can be made directly into the plate, then scan the outlets of the color photographs on the plate through computer. Whether typography or offset printing, carton packaging has its particularity, it must also draw the die line of the carton box and step and repeat it according to requirements. The structure of the die line drawing should match with the graphic design, otherwise, the error structure lines will partial to the top or bottom of the carton box after the rolling.

　　In short, modern packaging design should get creative choreography, template, printing technology together, play a concerted role in order to complete outstanding works.
