Quality control of the cardboard box

The quality control of the cardboard box related to the safety of the packaged goods, during the stock, transportation and sales process the cardboard packaging can not be damaged to realize the value of the goods. Therefore, the cardboard box factory need to carry out random checks to determine its quality meets the requirements. Typically, list as the following three checks.

1. The appearance of the cardboard box

Printing quality: pattern, handwriting, printing clear with the same chromaticity, shining bright; the printing position error of the big cardboard box can not exceed 7mm, small box can not more than 4mm;

Sealing quality: Case without loopholes around the lid sealing, non-uniform after sealing;

Dimensional tolerances: Cardboard box inner diameter design dimensional tolerances for large cardboard box should be kept in ± 5mm, small box ± 3mm, with consistent dimensions;

Cover collapses: the roll cover of the cardboard box open and close 180 degrees together more than five times, the first and second class box of the surface layer and the inner layer, the sum of the lengths of the three categories in the box layer cracks not more than 70mm;

In addition, the cardboard box should meet bonding specification, neat edge, no stack angle and panel not allowed to have obvious damage or smudges.

2. The strength of the cardboard box

The strength of the cardboard box is the most important indicator of quality of many goods packaging requirements, during test put the cardboard box between the two plates, the pressure crushing the cardboard box is the carton strength, the unit is KN. Once the cardboard box compressive strength is scheduled, the manufacturer should choose the suitable cardboard, corrugated paper to produce cardboard boxes to avoid blind production waste.

Due to the influence of various factors in the production process, the finally compressive strength with the raw materials may not be fully consistent with the results of the estimation, after thermostat wet processing the cardboard box should be sent to machine test.

3. Dynamic performance test

For certain commodities, such as ceramics, glass products, electrical appliances, instruments etc., the buffer performance of the cardboard box also should be done, which means simulate the transport, loading and unloading, vibration, drop test. All the dynamic experiments are destructive, the factory could use cushion, partitions or other protective measures to improve the anti-destruction capability of the cardboard box and merchandise. In addition, some packing cardboard box need spray, weather experiments.
