Corrugated packaging design

Good corrugated packaging design not only to meet the economical and practical, excellent external protection performance requirements, but also must be compatible with the current level of domestic production level, the requirements are too high or unreasonable design will not only cause costs, too much loss, and starting from the scientific and economic point of view, this is a waste. Good packaging design can not only reduce costs, improve the protective performance, it should also play a role to facilitate the mass production manufacturing. Under normal circumstances, the packaging structure designer should be in a comprehensive understanding of the product features and user needs on the basis of the following information or ideas before the structural design:

(1) Performance requirements for packaging containers, such as: FCL compressive strength, cardboard side pressure etc..

(2) Weight and arrangement of products within containers.

(3) The basic shape and composition of the packaging container structure.

(4) Cardboard material selection, molding process and the packaging requirements.

(5) Manufacturing costs, transportation costs, the safety factor of goods, other special requirements, such as: moisture resistant, anti-static properties etc..

A reasonable packaging structural design should take into account the above requirements as far as possible, pursuit the lowest cost to achieve the best performance. An excellent packaging designer should be familiar to deal with the packaging process, the performance of the raw paper, the structural style of the packaging container, a variety of packaging testing methods and their costs to get the best packaging solution.

In most people's impression, as if the corrugated graphic design is very simple, maybe a few words or lines of symbols only. In fact, this understanding is very wrong. Now, with the continuous improvement of corrugated packaging manufacturer, the printed pattern already from the previous monochrome, simple text, lines changed into the multi-color, high cable, high-precision overprint direction.
