The form of packaging design is the combination of elements of the display surface of the goods packaging constitute by trademarks, graphics, text, color etc.. The form of good packaging design, always need to master with the form of rules. There are lots of form of rules, here we take the following three aspects for example to elaborate the form of rules to be followed in the packaging design.

(1) The subject and the foil

Usually the product's image or name has been seen as the subject and other elements as the foil in the graphic design. This could make the screen theme much more prominent and prioritize to make key information easier to convey to the clients.

(2) Symmetry and balance

Symmetry refers to the same amount elements and forms in both left and right side, balance refers to the same amount elements with different forms. Balanced form gives a lively sense while symmetry gives the steady solemn feeling in packaging design. As for the symmetry and balance, we can find related information in the library or google it for better understanding.

If there is no comparison in the graphic design, the packaging design will be monotonous and dull; If there is no coordination of the various elements, the screen will be very out of tune. So the elements comparison and coordination is very important in graphic design. In addition to the above form of rules, the graphic design should also follow a structured, changed rhythmic, and perfect order and other form of rules.
